Dang I think I missed one day :( Oh well, I am hear now! Today was an awesome day! Got up at 7am, dropped my little brother off for a event he worked, then went to pick up some homies, then went to the zoo! We got to the zoo around 930, and yeah. The zoo here is ok, but not the greatest. Unfortunatly it's to hot for a lot of animals here. It was still nice to get away though and chill with some good people.
After we went to eat, then watched The Lovely Bones. What a boring movie! Oh my gatos! Like the plot they had was excelent, but the whole between heaven and earth thing was stupid. I wish they had just kept it to the who-done-it deal of the story. Would of made it a waaayyy better movie. They had good actors in it, if it wasn't for that I would of left the theatre, because it was only a two dollar ticket haha.
But not a lot to talk about. Except that the Justin Beiber thing is getting really anoying! Like why do little girls have to have someone to obsess over? Seariously! When I was 12 we weren't saving pictures of celebs on our phones, I was out and about doing things with my homies :) It's annoying how much people have changed since I was little.
But not much more to say, except
1. Do you think Justin Biebers music is good?
2. Who the heck stays out til midnight to buy a fricken DVD?
3. Where is Waldo? Really? :) haha
Until next time my readers, hopefully then I"ll have my poetry out.

Woa, two post in a row!! :)
Yup you see rightly, two nights in a row! Haha, :) So not much has happened since my last posting though. Unfortunatly some times I really do get boring. I would like to talk about work, but we all know how that goes. I got to say though, the people I work with can be VERY funny!
But I'm hittin' the zoo this saturday! I'm so excited! I've been wanting to go sooooo bad! And now I'm finally going. Who else likes the zoo? What's your favorite animal?
I love penguins! Those are my favorites! And fish! Like all ocean life. I think what God has created for us to see is amazing! I couldn't imagine a world without animals and the wonderful colors that are there in the ocean, or land for that matter. Just looking around where I live can be awesome (when the buildings aren't to much in the way :)
But in books still reading the same because I haven't found time to just sit and relax with a book these days :( I wish I had more time. Has anyone seen the new Alice in Wonderland movie?? Who read the two book series? I read the series and loved them! I wish it kept going, but how far could you take something like that ya know? Another good classic is Sleepy Hollow, not a big book, but an eccelent read! Oh! and one I just now remembered! It's called The Tent by .....can't remember author, but look up the title! Its a very small book, like it can't even be called a book I guess because its so small. But its about a boy and his father who come up with an idea to make money, and they come to find that they accually start to believe in what they faked at first. Its real good!
But in movies, I haven't watched any new or old. Just been on a Scooby-Doo and Batman kick :) Yes, I'm a Batman girl! Batman is the best hero EVER! Did any of you see The Dark Knight? O MY GATOS! Best Batman movie EVER! Ok, to much yelling and excitment! :)
Music time! Tobymac is my choice today! Tobymac has some great tunes! Like not all his stuff is the greatest, but when you find a song like Lose My Soul by him you can tell he really felt the words to that song while he sang it. So check him out!!!
But before I go I know y'all want MY poetry, but I'm to lazy to dig it out of my room right now because one my siblings are asleep in there and two it's burried in my closet haha. But I won't leave you without some kind of peotry, so here it is.
Todays post poetry is TobyMac's City On Our Knees song lyrics. (Yes I use song lyrics as poetry, because thats how it starts out).
City On Our Knees by Tobymac
If you gotta start somewhere why not here?
If you gotta start sometime why not now?
If we gotta start somewhere I say here
If we gotta start sometime I say now
Through the fog there is hope in the distance
From cathedrals to third world missions
Love will fall to the earth like a crashing wave
Tonight's the night
For the sinners and the Saints
Two worlds collide
In a beautiful display
It's all love tonight
When we step across the line
We can sail across the sea
To a city with one King
A city on our knees
A city on our knees
If you gotta start somewhere why not here?
If you gotta start sometime why not now?
If we gotta start somewhere I say here
If we gotta start sometime I say now
Through the fog there is hope in the distance
From cathedrals to thrid world missions
Love will fall to the earth like a crashing wave
Tonight's the night
For the sinners and the Saints
Two worlds collide
In a beautiful display
It's all love tonight
When we step across the line
We can sail across the sea
To a city with one King
A city on our knees
A city on our knees
Tonight could last forever
We are one choice from together
Tonight could last forever
Tonight could last forever
We're one choice from together
As family
Oh, tonight could last forever
We are one choice from together
You and me
Yeah you and me
Tonight's the night
For the sinners and the Saints
Two worlds collide
In a gloriuos display
'Cause it's al love tonight
When we step across the line
We could sail across the sea
To a city with one King
A city on our knees
A city on our knees
Oh
A city on our knees

If we gotta start somewhere why not here?
If we gotta start sometime why not now?
Yes, the song kind of repeats itself a lot, but they're still good lyrics so :p Haha. Hope you look it up and have a listen its pretty good! But maybe next time you'll see some of my own work, even if it's just a rewrite I do for a song out there. So until next time my readers!

WOW!
Ok, so its been a while and I'm so sorry readers, the ones I have anyways. But I work a lot now! It's nice but I seem to never have time, so I guess I need to make some :) But in news lately, I started working at Ross Stores and its been fun. I work along side my little sister!! We both work as morning stockers. I like working along side her a lot if it weren't for her I probably wouldn't stay in the the stock room. But I was offered a better possition, with more pay so I took it! Of course :) I'm so excited! I can't wait to start it.
But now to the stuff you like to read about. As you know I've been reading a series called The Plague Triology. Plague Year Plague War and Plague Zone are all books byt Jeff Carlson and they are DA bomb! Yes, DA bomb! I love'em. And I don't normally read sci-fi, like I hate sci-fi, ha, but this series doesn't have the feel of a sci-fi but it does. It's about this nano-tech that turns on warm-blooded animals and the only way to survive is living 10,000 feet up. It's very unique, and deffinatly check'em out!
I haven't been reading anything else lately, but imma catch up this weekend when I have some down time.
Music on the other hand. I found that I REALLY like Matisyahu. I branched out from the songs I already named in past posts, and its awesome uplifting music. There are a lot of other songs I've heard lately that are ok, but I find myself listening to old music that I haven't listened to in years. Like T-Bone (a christian rapper). He's pretty good and I forgot that. Kj-52 is pretty cool if your looking for music thats like goofy rap for your tweens, because its super clean and he makes all kinds of silly references, but I like it (this coming from the 20 year that still watches Disney sooo) haha.
Ummm movies...Alice in Wonderland with Johnny Depp was fricken awesome!!!!!! I went and saw it like two weeks ago now with a girl from work, it was awesome. Suprisingly it was very close to the second book, which people mistook the movie to be the first book in the two book series. But it was very close to the second book, and I'm ready to watch it again!
But I haven't read, watched, or listened to much more these days. So not a lot to talk about. So I shall leave you too yourselves and post up some awesome lyrics.
This weeks poetry is the song One Day by Matisyahu
Matisyahu -- One Day
Some times I lay under the moon
I thank God I'm breathin'
Then I pray don't take me soon
Cause I'm here for a reason
Some times in my tears I drown
But I never let it get me down
So when negativity surrounds
I know someday it'll all turn around because
All my life I've been waitin' for,
I've been prayin' for
For the people to say
That we don't want to fight no more
They'll be no more we wars
And our children will play
One day, one day, one day
One day, one day, one day
It's not about win or lose
Cause we all lose when they feed
On the souls of the innocent
Blood-drenched pavement
Keep on movin' though the waters stay ragin'
In this maze you can lose your way
It might drive you crazy,
But don't let it phase you no way, no way
Sometimes in my tears I drown
But I never let it get me down
So when negativity surrounds
I know someday it'll all turn around because
All my life I've been waitin' for
I've been prayin' for
For the people to say
That we don't want to fight no more
They'll be no more wars
And our children will play
One day, one day, one day
one day, one day, one day
One day this will all change treat the people the same
Stop the violence, down with the hate
One day we'll all be free and proud to be
Under the same sun singin' songs of freedom like
one day, one day, ohh
one day, one day
All my life I've been waitin' for
I've been prayin' for
For the people to say
That we don't want to fight no more
They'll be no more wars
And our children will play
One day, one day, one day
one day, one day, one day
End
It's a good song right?? :) Here is a link so you can take a listen and thanks for readin'!!!

ok so this stupid thing doesn't like to paste things, so here is the link to the poem instead. ENJOY!! And I'll be back again!

The New Post of the New Year!
Ok, so I keep promising stuff and never stick with it. I'm sorry about that :( but I'm going to try and blog more these days, since now I have more time on my hands. Hopefully every blog will have some of my writing for y'all. But for now I'm just going to do a quick movie update for y'all, and tomorrow will be BOOKS! and WRITING! :D
So, for movies I have watched recently (which has been a lot for me) are as follows:
"Pink Panther 2" with Steve Martin
"State of Play" with Russel Crowe
"The Sound of Music" yes, my first time watching that one
"Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs"
"Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel"
And "The Box" with Camren Diaz
Yes, all wtihin the last month I've watched these, so maybe not a lot to some people, but a ot for me lol. I've watched a lot more, but I'm sticking with the ones I've only watched once. :)
Pink Panther 2 was better then I expected, because I didn't much care for the first one, but this one was much better. And its surprisingly a good family film to watch together! I give it a A
The Sound of Music.....what can I say? Well, not my style musical, but as far as corny old movies go a B haha..no really, it was good for the time it came out in, but I only liked it so much, near the end mostly. So yeah a B for me.
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs........one word AWESOME!!!! LOVED IT!!! Must see!!! A +++
Alvin and the Chipmunks: the Squeakquel, really good, but to things. 1 Where's Alvin's red cap??? and 2 the music was to mondern for me, I wish they did "I told the wich doctor I was in love with you." That was another song from the old school shows they should of stuck with. All around a A though.
State of Play.....eh, not very good, but very well acted. I give it a B-
And lastly The Box.......excellent! It was like watching a good book, and an old school show of Twilight Zone. It was an awesome movie, another must see if your into that kind of thing. A++ for me :D
That was it for movies I've watched over the last few weeks (at least new movies for me). Other then that not a lot. I've written FOUR new peoms though!!! I can't believe it! I haven't been feeling like writing lately which is why I say that. Hopefully I'll be writing more though, that way I can post some more work up for y'all, because only one post with writing isn't enough. So until next time folks!!!
