Long day

It's been yet another long day for me....and I slept most of it away unfortunatly! I feel bad I did, I need to get back into my rythm! I use to work out every morning and now I haven't! I feel horrible!

Not a lot happened today, I'm trying to get my work back out though. It'll give me something to do as I wait to give my sister a ride to and from her jobs, because I don't do anything else productive.

Tonight was the annual Christmas party night for the ice arena I work for. It was fun! First time I ever been laser tagging lol. Yes we did putt-putt, laser tag, played arcade games, and ate and drank lol. It was fun though, I got to hang out with some new people. The sad part was that no one really paid any attention to the new kids there including me. But it's ok, its because we're new.

But yeah, I haven't finished any of the books I started, but I'm almost done with Dirty Blonde. Its a real good book so far. She wrote just enough to keep you reading to find out why and not who. I like the way she's writen it so far.

That's about all for now, I'll be sure to write again some other time. Especially when a really cool event takes place here soon!! I can't wait to see the looks on some faces! They'll be so happy!

Wow I'm so Sleepy!

Yup, long weekend plus a long week = a very sleepy tired person lol. That would be me these past few days. I worked hard on making a nice projector presentation for our church christmas concert, and it turned out FABULOUS! Hopefully the next big thing I'll have everything working so it will all work though. I had videos ready and everything, but they wouldn't project :( After geting only about 6 hours of sleep between Friday to Sunday, I have to deal with dropping my sister off in the mornings and picking her up late at night. Its not so bad, but it just sucks every now and then, but its calming down a bit, and hopefully I'll start working with her real soon in the mornings.

But, I haven't worked on anything new, because I haven't have the time, or felt like writing something. But I might pull out some old stuff I never finished and post bits and pieces for y'all when I get more time to post. But until then!

Bored late at night

So I got bored. I dicided to do a small blog. Nothing much just about today and what I have to get done. I'm making the projector slides for my churches annual christmas concert this sunday. I hope they turn out ok, becasue the software they have isn't that up-to-date. Hopefully I can get it to play videos! :D I haven't writen anything in a long time! Not since, will like forever ago! So after this next week, I'll be making up for lost time with all my writing. I miss it. Nothing much has happened since my last post. Just making smoothies with my new Vita-Mix blender. Totally awesome! lol It makes all kinds of things other then smoothies too. I'm to get healthier, so if any of my readers have helpful tips and hints on that are more then welcome.


But there isn't much more to say at the moment, so I guess I'll bid thee all a good night!

Wow! It's been to long

Ok, so I'm REALLY sorry it's been forever since I last posted anything. I've been busy trying to get a new job, and keeping up with all the changes in my life.

I can't believe it's December already! Where has the time gone?

I can't remember where I left off on my last post, but I do believe I left you with some of my work. Peotry I believe. Let me know what you thought of it! I need feedback! So please when you read any of my stuff please leave a comment for me.

But in lastest news, I might be working with my sister early in the morning with her. All I'm waiting on is the call that'll tell me they got my stuff already for me to come in for work. Hopefully I'll get the call tomorrow.

I'm still here in Arizona and have been talking to some old aquantances from about ohhh...at least 3 years back I think. And I'm also back in touch with a friend of old, but not the same as it use to be unfortunatly, because of mostly disappointment on my side and she knows it. I just feel bad because I hate to see her to stuburn with so many things. Some times I wish I could just smack her out of it, but I can't, I have to let her learn on her own.



But enough about my life, now I will talk about some new music I discovered, and a couple of books I've read.


The new music I discovered is Matisayhu. Yes hard to pronounce fun to listen to! It's reggea, christian style. The guy singing is Jewish, and it's really good, so give it a chance. They used his song "One Day" in the Vancoover Olympics cermercial. I love this style of music when I just want to chill or relax or to get inspried! It's a great way to start your day off also. Because it's so uplifting in a non-boring way :)


The books I've (and started) are This Side of Forever by Julieann Farnsworth. I've finished this one. It was a really cute love story. Yeah, a little corny, but it a cool way. It's a very refreshing read. I don't know about you, but it's about time I found a love story about the accual LOVE in a relationship, rather then the physical part of it. Pick it up from amazon or a small town bookstore. It'll be worth your time trust me.

Another book I read was The Last Summer of You and Me by Anne Brashares. That was like the polar opposite of what I was talking about in the okther book I read. Hers was more about the physcial part of a relationship. I wanted to read more of a relationship between them. Like how it would of been if they ever sat together and talked. (I'm talking about the characters in the story by the way lol). It also left me with a wanting, I wanted to know more about the older sister in this story, and the parents, and why everything had to change the way it did. I don't know it just felt like I was left hanging at the end. But all round an ok read.

I've started one called Dirty Blonde by Lisa Scottoline. So far it's very addictting. I'm not a person for this type of premiss in a book, but this one has got me hooked! I 'm in the middle of it now, and when I finish it I'll give you some more insight into it.

For another thing in music check out Will Not Bow by Breaking Benjamin, Fireflies by Owl City, Jerusalem by Matisyahu, and King Without a Crown by Matisyahu. Y'all will love these songs!

Sorry y'all!

Ok, I'm super sorry for not blogging in a long while. I always forget to do this thing. But there's not a lot for me to say on them and I haven't been writing lately, so there's not much to post. Just about my day and work, and that can get pretty boring. So I'll go for now, but I promise I'll try to remember to post on here everyday even if its just one paragraph.


But I can talk about music today. What are some of your favorite genres? For about a week I've been listening to rock music and oldies. Yes oldies lol. Anyone who knows me knows I don't normally listen to them. But tell me what are some of your favorite bands and songs!

Alright, I know I keep promising to put some work of mine up here, and I will soon I promise! I've just been busy trying to get my days planned out, and remembering to do this blog is hard because I just began it, but I will come by more often and get things rolling on here.

But it was an awesome day today because at 8:30am this morning I got a call for a job offer!!! Yes totally cool, since I've been looking for another job for two weeks now.....So I went to the interview and they hired me on the spot! I will be cartering/selling Jamba Juice! YUMMMY!!!!!!! Can't wait to start the job! Bring some more money in to pay things off lol.

The Pain

Also I finished that Julliann Farnsworth book like a week ago now. It was good, not the best I've read, but the story line and characters were cool. Its called "This Side of Forever". Diffenatly give it a chance.

Well, I'm sorry I didn't get around to doing Haiku week this week. I was just so busy with work and saying bye to my brother who was going back to his place in colorado. So I'm offically promising y'all that I'll do Haiku week next week, that way its all new stuff! So get your pens and paper ready!

I woke up not feeling good at 2am this morning and couldn't sleep 'til 4ish. My throat is killing me!.....But in good news......Starting this upcoming Sunday I'm doing Haiku week. It'll be American Haikus though, but your more then welcome to submit other types of Haikus. So yeah, I'll get back to y'all laters!

Latenight Boredom

Welp, up late with nothing better to do, so I thought I blog for a minute. I don't know what to blog about honestly, just about my day and movies and books and some music. Today was a long day, but fun (for the most part). I've started another book (can't member the title I'll post it later). Its by an author I met who lives in the same apartment complex as me! She's so awesome and nice! Her name is Juliann Farnsworth and you should check out her stuff! So far what I've read its pretty good, hopefully I'll be able to finish it soon so I can start the other one she signed for me. I also watched a somewhat new movie today. Its called Cleaner with Samuel L. Jackson, Eva Mendes, and Ed Harris. It was pretty good...oh though I think they tried to make it to dramatic....and the mystery in it was kinds of easy to figure out. But it was very well acted, and because of that I finished it. Music is music what is there to say about that? lol Y'all should let me know what are some of your favorites though so I can check them out. But other then all that nothing much interesting to say, but as I soon as I can get to my things I'll be posting some poetry and prose of mine for y'all as well, not just boring little summeries of my days :D

Whats up with this?

Ok, so people are on a vampire kick. Why? Just because someone comes out with a well writen book, everyone has to be into vampires. I don't begrudge Stephenie Meyers for writing a really good book, but people do we really need to take it as far as we have? Because now that we have, it makes the whole thing boring once more, and it ruins it for the rest of us who hasn't read the many good books. So what do you y'all think about it? Do you agree with me? Do you think I"m nuts? And doni't forget to answer my poll!
