Whats up with this?

Ok, so people are on a vampire kick. Why? Just because someone comes out with a well writen book, everyone has to be into vampires. I don't begrudge Stephenie Meyers for writing a really good book, but people do we really need to take it as far as we have? Because now that we have, it makes the whole thing boring once more, and it ruins it for the rest of us who hasn't read the many good books. So what do you y'all think about it? Do you agree with me?
